伊士曼™醋酸丁酸纖維素（CAB -551- 0.2 ）的纖維素酯具有高丁酰基含量和相對低的分子量。這是與許多交聯樹脂相容并具有較低的溶液粘度。在涂料，伊士曼™ CAB- 551- 0.2提供了明確的電影，可減少表面粘性和色斑，減少縮孔，改善流動和熱回流，并提供層間附著力和良好的紫外線穩定性。它是耐用的交聯的制劑是有用的。其具有廣泛的固化的樹脂體系，其溶解度在各種各樣的溶劑和溶劑組合的良好的相容性使其可用作在許多涂料組合物中的添加劑。伊士曼™纖維素酯是基于高達60 ％的纖維素，豐富的天然可再生資源之一。
